About The Books
The first part of the series are for Grades 1 through 3. “The Little Bee- Nahoula” subseries has been developed as activity books. As a parent and /or instructor, we suggest reading together with your young readers and asking them the discussion questions about the Little Bee’s story in each lesson. Each lesson includes activities to write, color, learn Arabic words, sing and play with the Little Bee. Please note that this book series is for all kids, both boys and girls. Since the worker bee is female, we have personified the main character as a female bee, called Nahoula (nickname for the word bee in Arabic Nahla), to make it easier for kids to relate to the character.
Each set of 3 books within a sub series has the same unit titles. However, the lesson titles advance from one grade level to another, reflecting the progression of the concepts for that unit.
