“The Little Bee” Book Series
The first three books of series is titled “The Little Bee”, which stars Nahoula, and her friends in these 3 activity books (Grade level 1, 2, 3). Each lesson includes activities to write, color, learn Arabic words, sing and play with the Little Bee. Since the worker bee is female, we have personified the main character as a female bee, called Nahoula (nickname for the word bee in Arabic Nahla), to make it easier for kids to relate to the character.
